Doda Police Organised Girls Kho, 'Kho Championship' | KNO

DODA , FEB 26 (KNO) : Police Station Doda under the Dy. SP Hqrs Doda Iftkhar Ahmed organised a Kho Kho tournament in the premises of Govt Hr. Sec. School Khellani ,Doda under Civic Action Programme 2017-18. Addl SP. Doda Vinay Kumar and SP Operation Doda Ravinder Paul Singh was chief guest of the event. In the tournament 04 teams from Hr. Sec. School Khellani, High School Malhori, High School Hambal and Middle School Kelotha participated . The final match of the tournament was played between Hr. Sec.

School Khellani and Middle School Kelotha which was won by Hr. Sec. School Khellani . Winners and Runner-up team were awarded with Medals, Trophies and Cash Prize.Besides Principal Hr.Sec School Khalleni,Principal Govt. Polytech. College,and Ic PP Khalleni, a large number of respectable from Khalleni and adjoining areas were present on the occasion to witnesses the event.General Public of the area appreciated the role of Doda Police in strengthening Police-Public relations ,and to channelized the energy of youth in positive way.Speakers on the occasion said that such type of events provide a platform to potential youth to explore their hidden talent and keep them away from drug abuse.

They added that sports activities help the youth to channelize their energy in a positive way. They further added that Police would organize more such programmes under Civic Action in future to encourage youth to take part is sports.It is pertinent to mentioned that Such sports events are being organised by Doda Police under the supervision of SSP Doda Mohd Shabir at Police Station/Police Post Level under the Civic Action Programme of J&k Police 2017-18.(KNO)
